What the video covers

• Gear fills your bags fast, and the chest in the guild hall holds only 18 slots. Larry Puss suggests keeping one set that suits you and salvaging the rest at the blacksmith, since upgrades eat salvage anyway. 0:03
• Your own chests come from the base you start building after the first cave. Talk to Faustas until he runs out of lines, dismantle the wreckage, then build a tent and a campfire and cook food and water. 0:57
• Larry Puss names the tent and campfire quest as the one that unlocks the chest plan. In the game files, Learning to Build asks for a tent, a campfire and a cooked Roasted Droop Core and lists no building plans as its reward. 1:26
• Take the Sanctum waygate to Earlwood, talk to everyone, and in the Great Hall speak to Alaric and Rahaner. Alaric hands you a free spell for your class. 1:54
• Planks and nails come from chests, tree trunks and corpses in the farmlands. In the video, the corpses were the most reliable source. 2:21
• Once the Workbench is up, craft Stone Nails from Stone and Pinewood Planks from Wildwood Pine. From there you can build as many Pinewood Chest as you like. 2:39
• In the game files, a Pinewood Chest holds 18 items and costs 1 Stone Nails and 3 Pinewood Planks. The Workbench costs 2 Pinewood Planks. Each nail takes 1 Stone and each plank takes 1 Wildwood Pine. 2:39
• Skip crafting an axe, a pickaxe and gloves. Follow the main quest north past the Earlwood waygate, kill the wolf, then report to Alaric and Rahaner. Rahaner gives you the tools for free. 2:47
• If Rahaner holds the tools back, finish Learning to Train: buy one attribute point with XP, level up, and spend one skill point. 4:01
• A newer patch added buttons to deposit matching items into a chest. It works on set pieces too, as long as the chest already holds one piece of that set. 5:55
