Survive
Below this box is the in-game Codex text, unchanged. The numbers on the facing page come from the game files.
Vitals
The core resources that keep you fighting - Health, Concentration, Stamina, and the Nourishment that refuels them.
Health
The resource that keeps you alive.
When Health reaches zero you are downed and must be revived by an ally or respawn at the nearest Waygate.
Health recovers quickly while out of combat; in combat it does not regenerate, so restore it with healing spells and potions.
- HP Percent
Increases your maximum Health by a percentage.
Nourishment
Nourishment is the meter that food and drink fill. Hunger and thirst share it.
Moving nonstop empties a full meter in 150 minutes.
Above 50% your vitals are normal. Below it, your maximum Health, Concentration and Stamina shrink, down to 25% of normal at an empty meter.
Each of the 22 foods and drinks in the files restores 1800 Nourishment, 50% of a full meter. See food and drink.
Vitals
Carrying
Concentration
The resource that powers spellcasting.
Casting a spell spends Concentration.
It recovers quickly while out of combat; in combat it does not regenerate on its own and is instead restored by landing basic attacks.
- Concentration Regen
A bonus to how quickly Concentration recovers.
- Concentration On Hit
A flat amount of Concentration restored each time one of your basic attacks lands.
- Concentration Percent
Increases your maximum Concentration by a percentage.
Stamina
The resource spent on physical exertion.
Sprinting drains Stamina continuously, and some attacks and spells spend it as part of their cost.
It recovers on its own, though recovery pauses while attacking and slows while casting.
- Stamina Regen
A bonus to how quickly Stamina recovers.
- Stamina Percent
Increases your maximum Stamina by a percentage.
Nourishment
The resource that fuels your recovery.
The natural regeneration that refills your vitals after combat consumes Nourishment, and moving about drains it slowly.
At low Nourishment your maximum Health, Concentration, and Stamina begin to fall.
Restore it by eating and drinking.
You can hold one food buff and one drink buff at a time; eating or drinking something new replaces the matching buff.
Food and drink equipped in the auto-eat and auto-drink slots are used automatically - whenever their buff runs out, and at low Nourishment as a fallback.
Utility
Stats for life outside the fight - how well you support others, how fast you travel, and how much you can carry.
Healing Power
A percent amplifier on the healing you cast.
Every point of Healing Power increases the Health restored by your healing spells and effects.
Movement Speed
How fast you move around the world.
Movement Speed is raised by equipment, the skill tree, and effects such as Temporal Surge, and lowered by slows such as Chill.
Encumbrance
The total weight you can carry.
Every item in your inventory adds its weight toward the limit. Carry capacity is the same for every race and class, and grows only through the Icons of Encumbrance found in the world.
Anything that would put you over the limit cannot be picked up.
