If you get stuck
This step keeps its progress. The creatures you killed stay dead if you die or leave: Fight through the caverns and slay the Hoard King.
Inside the caves, the switch that opens the gate sits in one of the two hallways at the start, and the game picks which one at random (developer, 2026-09-24). Players on the game's Discord describe it as a glowing yellow switch, and say the door to Goblin King has its own switch hidden in one of the side paths.
If the caves are empty when you take this bounty: the goblins there had a 30 minute wait before they came back (developer, 2026-09-24). Patch 0.107.7779 (2026-09-25) makes them come back as soon as you take the bounty.
