This page sums up Dimraeth - 10 Advanced Tips You NEED to Know by Game Launch Central. Each line links to the moment in the video it comes from.

What the video covers

  • The voice-over reads general advice over early-game footage. The description credits the footage to another video, so the pictures do not act out the tips. We checked each tip below against the game files. 0:02
  • Pick your race and class with care, because each pair has its own skill tree. There are three playable races (Human, Minotaur, Elf) and three classes (Magician, Brawler, Shadow), so nine trees. The game files agree. 0:24
  • The video calls the Elf Magician the best pick for ranged elemental damage. The game files back part of that: an Elf Magician's base cost for Intelligence is 140, while a Human or Minotaur Magician pays 160. 1:02
  • The advice is to stay in your archetype's main attributes early and leave hybrids for later. In the game files an off-class attribute does cost more to raise. A Human Magician pays 160 for Intelligence but 240 for Strength. 1:26
  • Stamina and Concentration are two separate budgets. Attacks, dashes and blocks use Stamina, and spells use Concentration. In the game files Dash costs 10 Stamina and Heavy Strike costs 20. The race table gives a Minotaur attack a Stamina cost of 3 and a Human or Elf attack a cost of 1, so the video is right that Minotaur melee eats more Stamina. 2:18
  • Keep some Stamina in reserve. In the game files, if your Stamina runs out while you block (Parry, Retaliation or Vanish, depending on race), the block breaks and you are Stunned for 1.5 seconds. 2:40
  • The chapter called "Build 5-spell rotations with elemental synergy" has no rotation advice in it. Its voice-over is the base tip, and the same lines play again at 9:09. 4:05
  • Build production early. Farms, quarries and coops produce on their own. In the game files a Chicken Coop makes 1 egg every 300 seconds. Upgrading your allies' facilities raises the farm plot limit, the pet pen size and the worker count, among other things. 4:09
  • Eat before a hard fight. The video says food and potions raise Vitality and other attributes, but the game files say otherwise. Food and drinks raise max Health, Stamina or Concentration, or a resistance, for 30 minutes. Only one food buff and one drink buff can be active at a time. Hunter's Stew, for example, gives 10% max Health and Stamina. 4:49
  • Some spells need attribute points before you can use them. The game files list 22 player spells with a requirement like this. Meteorite, for example, needs Memory 14 and Intelligence 20. The video also says attributes unlock skill tree options. In the game files a skill node needs only skill points and the nodes before it. 5:44
  • Check set bonuses as well as raw stats. The video says sets turn on at 2 and 4 pieces. The game files have 43 rune sets. In 16 of them the first bonus comes at 2 pieces, in the other 27 at 3 pieces, and the top bonus of some sets needs 7. 7:31
  • Do side quests and invest in your allies. The game files have a relationship system with Opinion, Friendship and Romance values, and romance titles such as Romantic Interest. 10:47
  • Co-op takes up to 8 players, and the game files agree. The video says your character keeps its progress when you join someone else's world. That fits the save files: the game keeps the character, with its pet, in one file and the world in another. 12:21
  • Pets fight at your side, and each of the 9 pets casts its own spell. They gain XP in the pet pen, and the inventory has a pet storage. The video also says pets carry heavy loads and send items home. The game files do not support that: no pet raises your carry limit, and nothing sends items to your base. 13:57
  • Learn a boss's tells, then block or dodge on time. A perfect parry cuts the Stamina drain and adds a counter that depends on your race. A Human slashes, a Minotaur sends out a push-back shockwave and an Elf teleports behind the attacker. 16:04
  • The "contract system" in the video is the deed board. The game files have 32 deeds of five kinds: Cull, Hunt, Donate, Scout and Boss. The three Boss deeds, such as Return to the Forest Throne, let you fight a boss again, with up to 10 tiers and a 1-day cooldown. 17:03
