What the video covers

• The video splits purple gear into two kinds: monster loot and boss loot. Both need a high bounty deed level, monster loot included. 0:39

• Two bounty deeds give purple monster loot. The Hoard King's Bounty covers the goblins in the Goblin Caves; Return to the Forest Throne covers the treants, wolves and dryads on the forest path. 1:00
• In the game files, both deeds unlock one tier at a time, and they open after a story quest (Hoard King's Fall and Crown of Thorns). For the monsters of both deeds the best rarity is Rare at tier 2 and Mythical, the next step up, from tier 3. The monsters keep their own level at every tier. 1:10

• In the deed, the normal monsters are pushed to deed level 3 and drop purple pieces more often. The codex lists the monster that drops each set. 2:43
• Gorehorn drops from the Wildwood Aetherfang Wolf. The trick is to kill only those wolves and leave everything else alive. When the wolves are dead, let the other monsters kill you. After you respawn the wolves are back, so repeat until the set is done. 2:56
• For the goblin sets, run the same loop in the Goblin Caves under the Hoard King's Bounty. 3:44
• Boss loot is simpler: take the bounty deed of the boss that drops your set and beat it at level 3. The example is Brutalclaw and Chillhowl from the Alpha Wolf Bounty. 4:20
• On the Alpha Wolf Bounty the game files already allow Mythical pieces from tier 2. 4:32
