What the video covers
- An Elemental Ranger (Human Magician) that keeps enemies Burning so every auto attack also fires
Ember Cascade fireballs, then cashes the stacks in with
Inferno. 0:11 - It plays fast, with lots of dodging, and the Burning keeps hurting enemies while you move. The downsides: you have to aim
Fireball, and Inferno is slow to cast. 0:46 - Ember Cascade only exists on the Human Magician tree. The aim is to keep 10 or more Burning stacks on the target, because Ember Cascade fires up to 10 small fireballs. 1:50
- Hold attack and cast Fireball each time it comes off cooldown. In this setup one Fireball hit adds 7 Burning, so two hits reach 14. 2:13
- Inferno eats the Burning stacks for one big explosion.
Conflagration spreads a target's Burning to a whole pack first. 2:58
Piercing Fireball goes through enemies but only explodes on a hit, so a miss does no damage. Through three dummies it stacks 21 Burning. 3:31- Conflagration needs 8 Memory and 10 Intelligence. Humans start with 7 Memory, so the build puts one point there. 5:20
- The video also looks at
Blackhole,
Circle of Magic and
Barrier. It uses none of them, because they need too much Memory and Charisma. 6:33 - Put everything into Intelligence. The video skips Memory because auto attacks refill Concentration, and says some Physique for health is fine if you want it. 8:22
- For a pet, take the
Ember Hound for a little extra Burning, or the
Silver Cat for a magic barrier when you get hit. 9:54
Flaming Oil adds Fire Damage to your attacks and the
Explosive Flask leaves a Burning area. Both help, but neither is required. 10:51- Aim for six pieces of
Pyreweaver. Look for Burning Damage, Fire Damage, Magic Damage, Critical Chance and above all Critical Damage. Attack Speed and health are good too. 11:26 - To farm Pyreweaver, the video clears and resets the
Rageborn Flaskrat packs in the Goblin Caves. 13:04 - For the other six pieces the video skips
Burnward, drops the four-piece
Enflamed mortar as too weak, and moves to
Pathweaver. 13:45 - In the tree, rush
Explosive Impact first. Head for Ember Cascade through the nodes for damage and Critical Chance against Burning targets rather than the Thrust path, then take Piercing and
Igniting Fireball. 17:21 - Next come
Hot-blooded Hunter,
Pyre Echo, more maximum Burning (
Wild-fire Ranger), Burning damage and duration, and Critical Damage. 18:30 - Last is Inferno:
Cascading Inferno, then cooldown, cost and damage on the way to
Combusting Inferno, then
Ashen Escalation and one more Inferno cooldown point. 20:04 - If you skip Inferno, the video puts the 11 points on the path to
Surge of Mastery instead. Ember Cascade crits keep its Attack Speed buff up all the time. 23:35 - Aim Fireball a little behind the enemy so it does not miss. Drink a health potion just before you cast Inferno, so its healing covers the long cast. 26:00

Notes from the video
- Next to the Human start, the attributes on screen add 1 Memory and 42 Intelligence. Everything else stays at the starting value. 8:45
- The game files agree on the spell needs: Conflagration 8 Memory and 10 Intelligence, Circle of Magic 12 Memory and 20 Charisma, Black Hole 12 Memory, 12 Charisma and 12 Intelligence. The video guesses Barrier cannot target yourself, and the game files agree: it only targets allies. 7:50
- The game files agree that Intelligence gives 1 Magic Damage per point and Charisma gives 0.5. 8:04
- The
Elixir of Rebirth resets your attributes. The video buys it from Befr in the Sanctum for 500 gold once Befr's shop is upgraded. The game files give the same price, in the first shop upgrade. 8:59 - The video tried
Firestorm, which turns the hit into a 5 second fire field at 30% per second (150% in all). It keeps Cascading Inferno because the tree cannot be switched quickly between bosses and packs. 4:53 - In the game files, Pathweaver gives 3% Magic Damage per stack for 4 seconds after you deal Physical Damage, up to 5 stacks, or 7% per stack with six pieces. The embers count as Magic Damage too. 14:20
- The Pyreweaver tooltip in the video matches the game files: +8% Fire Damage and +5% Magic Damage at two pieces, +4 Spell Haste at three, and at six, +7% health plus 15% more damage to Burning enemies. 11:40
- The video tests
Ashen Escalation on dummies: a crit Inferno hit for about 11,000 with the node and about 5,000 without. The node only names Burning Damage, so the video suspects a bug. 21:04 - A Rahaner respec in the Earlwood guild hall is free at first and then costs gold. The game files give 1 free refund per level gained and charge 1 gold per point after that. 16:56
- The pet is an
Ember Hound named Fenrir, at level 8. 11:30 - Every piece the video hovers is +11, which is forge level 12 in the planner. The wiki worked out the stars from each main stat value at that level. 11:26
- By 14:08 the video has swapped three
Enflamed pieces for three
Pathweaver pieces. Only the Pathweaver badge is hovered. It is a Rare piece with Critical Damage as its main stat. 14:08
