This page sums up DIMRAETH POISON STACKER BUILD - GLOOM STALKER - HAIL OF ARROWS by TheJujiWay. Each line links to the moment in the video it comes from.
What the video covers
- This is a ranged poison build. You stack poison from a distance and let it tick while you dodge. 0:48
- The first try was an Elf Magician with a poison spellbook, but the video found no poison nodes in the Magician tree. It settles on Human Shadow, the Gloom Stalker. 1:36
Hail Of Arrows is the main skill. It is a channel with a short cooldown, and the build scales it with Strength. 2:15- The Poison Pool upgrade leaves poison on the ground, so stacks keep landing while you stop channeling to dodge. 3:16
- The video reads the codex entry for Poison, then tests it. Taking off gear with Physical Damage leaves the poison ticks the same, but one more point of Strength raises them. 4:43
- The other spells are
Poison Mist for poison over a big area and
Entangling Roots for burst damage. 8:05 - Three
Rootbloom pieces make Entangling Roots summon three roots, and
Gorehorn adds its Physical Damage bonus.
Redsteel is the next set to farm. 10:00 - The skill tree walk covers the poison duration, poison damage and max poison nodes, then the Hail of Arrows upgrades. 12:24
- The build uses a Silver Cat pet and drinks
Thaumablossom Tea for Concentration. 16:08 - At level 24 the character has 35 Strength, 15 Memory and 11 Physique. 16:38

Rotation
Entangling Roots Cast it first, because the roots hit after a delay. 9:09
Hail Of Arrows Start channeling right away so the pack is poisoned before the roots land. 9:12- The roots then hit poisoned enemies, and the tree makes poisoned enemies take more damage. 9:24
Notes from the video
- The game files give
Hail Of Arrows a 3 second cooldown and Thrust damage, as the video says. 4:26 - The codex text in the game files matches the video: each Poison stack scales with Physical or Magic Power, whichever is higher. 4:43
- The video's test at 15 stacks gives 242 poison damage per tick with 35 Strength and 240 with 34 Strength. Removing a ring and a
Gorehorn piece with Physical Damage did not change it. The wiki has not repeated this test. 5:24 - The video says the Magician tree has no poison nodes. In the game files the Magician class part of the tree has none, but the Elemental Ranger archetype has two. 1:45
- The video says the Poison Mist spellbook comes from Myrll after Myrll's quests. The wiki found no Poison Mist spellbook recipe in the game files. The
Spellbook Entangling Roots recipe is at Myrll. 8:16 - The video counts 8 extra seconds of poison duration from the nodes. The nodes on screen add 7 seconds: 1 + 2 in the Human part and 1 + 1 + 2 in the Shadow part. 12:52
- Vital Conduit makes Memory also raise max Stamina, so one attribute gives both Concentration and Stamina. That is why the build takes it. 15:40
- The tree shows 54 points spent at level 24. Levels give 46, so the link counts 8 boss points. The video does not say which bosses. 13:00
- The next goal is six more Max Poison nodes for 32 stacks. They are not in this plan. 14:02
- The pet is the
Silver Cat. The video says its barrier has saved them many times while channeling Hail of Arrows. 16:08 - The consumable is
Thaumablossom Tea. It gives more Concentration and Concentration on hit. 16:16 - The badge and charm show no forge level, so the planner puts them at level 1. The undercoat is +11, which is level 12. At 10:40 the
Gorehorn badge counts 4 of 7 pieces worn. 10:40
Not shown in the video
The video does not show these, so this guide leaves them out.
- The bosses that gave the 8 extra skill points.
- The video hovers only the undercoat, one badge and the charm. The rings, belt, amulets, bracers and rune stay unseen, and the video says a couple of slots are still empty.
