This page sums up Highest DPS in Dimraeth? Rumbler build & guide breakdown! by CashewReview. Each line links to the moment in the video it comes from.

What the video covers

  • This is a crit-focused Human Brawler (Wildstrider). The plan is to push crit chance and crit damage as high as they go, then fill the time between short-cooldown spells with three-hit auto-attack combos. 0:35
  • Weapon Swap does the burst damage. Versatile Warrior makes each cast raise all damage by 15% for 8 seconds, and the cooldown is short enough that the bonus is up almost all the time. 0:52
  • The points go into the Weapon Swap branch first (Hero's Turn and Blade Discipline). After that come Riposte Discipline, Tempo Conversion and Surge of Mastery, and then every Strike Damage, crit and attack speed node on the west side of the ring. 1:40
  • The Damage vs. Bleeding nodes pay off because Tendon Slice and the Fangra Cub pet both apply Bleeding. Frenzy is there for attack speed. 2:06
  • For gear, the character wears the full 6-piece Rumbler set with Pitfighter. The video also names Gorehorn as a set to mix in. 2:22
  • The video ends with a full stage 3 fight against the Goblin King on the highest difficulty. 3:24

Rotation

  1. Frenzy Cast it first. 2:52
  2. Tendon Slice Dash in, then cast it. That boosts your auto-attacks, so follow with a three-hit combo. 2:54
  3. Quick Jab Cast it for the Physical Damage boost, then do another three-hit combo. 3:00
  4. Weapon Swap Use it to cancel the third hit's animation, then finish with one more three-hit combo. 3:08
  5. Parry and counterattack between casts. While Frenzy or Weapon Swap is on cooldown, fill the gap with three-hit combos. 3:16

Notes from the video

  • The tree screen shows 60 points spent and none left. Level 25 gives 48, so the other 12 come from first boss kills. The planner link counts them. 1:40
  • The video puts Weapon Swap's cooldown at 4 to 5 seconds, depending on gear. In the game files it starts at 8 seconds, and the three Weapon Swap Cooldown Reduction nodes (the first is Weapon Swap Cooldown Reduction I) each take 10% off. The tooltip in the video reads 4.8 seconds. 1:28
  • The video says Frenzy gives 50% attack speed and 10% more damage. The game files give it 50% Attack Speed and 5 Rage for 2 seconds. The Frenzy text says nothing about 10% damage. 2:14
  • The on-screen captions name four sets to mix: Rumbler at 6 pieces, Lionspear at 6, Pitfighter at 2 and Gorehorn at 7. The voice-over leaves out Lionspear. Together that is 21 pieces for 12 slots, so you pick from the list. The character wears Rumbler at 6 of 6, Pitfighter at 3 of 3, one Gorehorn bracer (1 of 7) and one Pathweaver bracer. The Lionspear belt and the Gorehorn ring on screen come out of a chest. 2:30
  • In the game files, the 6-piece Rumbler bonus gives +7% Critical Chance and +12 Armor. It also adds Haymaker, which grants +20% Physical Damage for 5 seconds after a dash. That explains the dash at the start of the rotation. 2:38
  • The pet is a level 8 Fangra Cub called Chomper. It leaps through the nearest enemy and applies Bleeding and Chill. 2:26
  • Nine worn pieces are shown in full. When the video hovers a chest item, the game puts the worn piece next to it for comparison. All are at +11 except the Gorehorn bracer, which has no forge level. The game shows the forge level minus one, so +11 means forge level 12, the maximum. The values on screen match our numbers for each level and star count. 2:41
  • Rumbler sits on the rune, belt, charm, second ring and both amulets. The Rumbler tooltip lights up these slots, and the slot borders give the rarity (purple Mythical, blue Rare). 2:26

Changed since this video

  • Frenzy changed in game build 25546572, after the build the video shows.

Not shown in the video

The video does not show these, so this guide leaves them out.

  • Attribute points. The video never opens the character screen.
  • The source of Tendon Slice. This tree has no node for it.
  • The key each spell sits on. The video only gives the order to cast them.
  • Which slots hold the other two Pitfighter pieces. The under-coat (Mythical) and both badges (Rare) are never shown up close, so the planner link leaves them out.
  • The stars, forge level and stats of the rune and the charm. The planner link leaves them out.
  • The last extra stat of the Pitfighter ring and of the Pathweaver bracer. A caption covers that line.
