This page sums up How To Build The Shadow For BIG DAMAGE in Dimraeth! by Revvy. Each line links to the moment in the video it comes from.
What the video covers
- This Elf Night's Whisper build stacks Bleeding with
Vanishing Strike and
Tendon Slice, then spends it with
Shadow Convergence for big single hits. 0:01 - The combo goes Vanishing Strike to get behind the target, then Tendon Slice, then Shadow Convergence. After that Revvy throws all five
Shadow Daggers and recalls them to burst the Bleeding, and starts over. 0:40 - The skill tree walk starts at 1:48 and covers all 59 spent points. 1:48
- Revvy sets Physique for about 400 Health, because level 3 bounties were killing them in one hit without it. 10:32
- Their own gear is a mix they call weak. They talk through the sets they would aim for instead, with
Gorehorn first. 12:04

Rotation
Vanishing Strike Teleport behind the target. From behind it hits harder and, with Rending Vanish, stacks more Bleeding. 0:40
Tendon Slice Adds more Bleeding before the big hit. 0:50
Shadow Convergence Dash in with the clones and consume the Bleeding. With Relentless Convergence it holds two charges. 0:50
Shadow Daggers Throw all five daggers, then press again to call them back. Harvesting Daggers makes the return consume Bleeding for extra damage. The clones throw daggers too. 0:58
Notes from the video
- With Rending Vanish and its three increases, a Vanishing Strike from behind applies 11 Bleeding. The node texts in the game files add up the same way: 5 from behind, plus 2 for each increase. 3:38
- Revvy takes two Critical Damage vs. Echoed nodes under Crimson Reaper only because Shadow Convergence sits behind them. 6:31
- Revvy talks about taking the third Harvesting Convergence increase to reach 16. On the tree screen only the first two are lit, which matches the 59 points spent, so this guide leaves the third out. 8:31
Many-Cut Phantom sits in the Night's Whisper branch, which only the Elf Shadow has. A Human or Minotaur Shadow gets a different branch there. 9:05- Revvy counts
Backstep Strike as a free slot. Sometimes they swap in a battle standard spell to buff allies in co-op. 9:50 - The trainer screen shows Health 400.10, Physical Power 43.50 and Attack Speed 1.50 at level 25. 11:08
- Revvy recommends
Gorehorn as the main set for a Bleeding build, a two-piece
Moonthorn for Thrust Damage, and
Rootbound if you can get five pieces.
Lionspear gets an honourable mention, but they found only one piece. 12:04 - The video says the best Gorehorn farm is the first Corrupted Treant boss and the level 3 bounty wolves. The game files list Gorehorn among the rune sets of
Wildwood Wolf and
Wildwood Aetherfang Wolf. 13:18 - Revvy asks where Lionspear drops. The game files list it among the rune drops of
Wildwood Aetherfang Wolf (a rune drops 15% of the time) and in some dungeon chest rewards. 13:58 - Revvy is not sure whether the Lionspear buff has a cooldown. The set text in the game files names none. A critical hit with Thrust Damage gives +20% Thrust Damage for 5 seconds. 14:26
- The
Moonthorn bracer is a Common piece at +9 (planner level 10). The video calls it terrible, but it completes the two-piece bonus. 12:22 - The rune, undercoat and amulet are +11 (planner level 12). The charm and badge show no forge level, so they are level 1. 12:06
- The Gorehorn tooltip counts 3 of 7 pieces. The video never hovers the third one, or the Shieldline piece it names. 12:20
Not shown in the video
The video does not show these, so this guide leaves them out.
- Which spell Revvy puts in the fourth slot for this build.
- Six slots are never hovered, including the third Gorehorn piece and the Shieldline piece.
